Welcome to the 2018-2019 School Year!
It gives me great pleasure to begin my fourth year as Superintendent of Sierra Blanca ISD. It has been an honor to come back home to Sierra Blanca and to the school which holds some of my fondest memories.
We had a great school year in 2017-2018! Our students did an excellent job on many fronts! Our athletic teams were consistently in post-district competition; One-Act Play and several UIL participants advanced; and our academic achievements brought us to the long-sought standing of Met Standard from the Texas Education Agency. Our students have overcome many challenges in the last three years, and we have seen them emerge from these challenges as leaders and accomplishers, and I could not be prouder of them!
We have a great faculty and staff who put student needs above all else, and 2018-2019 will be another year of great accomplishments! The Vaqueros are on the move -onward and upward!
